Panasonic SC PT 750 Home
Theater System with Rear Wireless Speakers
The SC PT750 which we are talking about in this article includes this rear wireless system. Also included is a 5 disc DVD/CD changer and Reciever in one unit using an HDMI 1080p upscaling, iPod dock, a remote control, Subwoofer, Front left/right speakers, Center speaker,Rear wireless speakers, rear wireless receiver/amplifier. This system consists of a total of 8 pieces.
The front left/right speakers can be wall mounted if desired using the provided keyhole slots in the back of the enclosure.
The rear wireless receiver requires AC to power it up.
Are you also wondering where they get the "wireless" in this system? There are wires connecting the front speakers and subwoofer and center speaker which are attached to the speaker enclosures. This rear wireless feature eliminates any wires from the front of your room where the main components are placed to the rear of your room where you place the rear speakers. This is the ugly ones that you may have to hide under a rug or up and above a doorway and down the wall. They are always visible and eventually an eye sore.
If you are interested in the systems power rating, the manufacturer suggests this system is 1000 watts. This is a bit exagerated maybe trying to impress some of us. The federal trade commisions rating is about 428 watts which is a lot more believeable.
Besides playing DVD media this unit also will play Cds with mp3 files and has an iPod dock for the ultimate stereo. Why mess around with loading Cds anymore? The iPod dock works with 4th gen iPods and later. The remote with this unit will operate some of the basic iPod functions. Some of the iPods have a remote that you can buy separately if wanting full control.
This system has a lot of features and components for the price and has quite a nice sound. Course you may not agree.. wanting some features that are not included. They do have another higher end SC PT 950 model with more controls and adjustments with auto speaker calibration and tall boy speakers and it's also a bit higher price. My experience with Panasonic products have always been a good reliable product for the money.
